If this political game on security issue continues to be played by both parties, I'm afraid Chinese Americans (either Mainlanders or Taiwanese) will continue to be the scapegoats. I remember when I saw a TV interview with a Taiwanese-American politician in California, who has a dream to become the President of the United States, I really thought he was wishfully thinking. As a matter of facts, I might try to stop him, because he could make the matter worse for the whole Asian community. Anyway, regarding the political spectrum, I think nowadays money can buy out some Democrats. Republicans tend to focus on the main issue, but need some good relation with China. Reform party is a mess, and Buchannan is a joke...why? I'm still having an impression about his extreme view which attracted that Russian extremist (I don't remember his fake name =P).
