I was just talking to a health care entrepreneur who felt that the productivity improvements within health care from technology and the internet are mainly in the future. There's a lot more down the road to drive further development of the internet, drive up the need for bandwidth, and still make Alan smile! It is an awesome mix of conditions which are, for the foreseeable future, self-sustaining and almost exponentially growing. The success of companies such as AOL and MSFT (and many, many others) has built a willingness to provide capital to almost every new company with a decent idea and the new technologies emerging are creating dramatically higher productivities (as well as more wealth). Technologies can improve our efficiency, our economy, and ultimately our lives so much. The whole process is steamrolling right now and has a long way to go before it's played out, if ever. It is different this time. Bill
