My favorite is to count up the entire population, then divide that number into the total budget, then each man, woman, and child would pay the government 'their fair share.'

Your idea is very good.

Another would be that you would get a number of votes equal to the number of tax dollars you've paid. Also government employees would not be allowed to vote as it would be a conflict of interest.
