In a previous post Flack said the cross, as far as he is concerned, is when the 10dma and the 20dma cross the 50. See Raging Bull post #47642 on the DRBOB board.

I use the 5dma crossing the 20, which would have been on the 10th.

Flack uses the other one because he said that you get less false signals than using my way, and that it's been a safe and accurate predictor for him for many years.
