Bob - My condolences for your father and best of luck with your mother. Seems hard times travel in groups but it all works out eventually.

Couldn't agree with you more about congestion. I don't get to watch tick by tick often since I am usually at work but I always notice that when the price action goes flat, the next step is usually for bid and ask to tighten considerably then a few seconds or minutes later it breaks hard. I think it tends to break downward too but maybe that is only because we are watching so close when we are long and recall it going against us.

I know I messed up yesterday in just this pattern. Luckily I sold some calls and was able to buy them back this morning to minimize my mistake.

Pretty ugly day so far and much worse than the indexes look. Leaders are absent and fighting for their own lives, not to be bothered with such things as helping the broader market.

Most of my stuff was still on sell as of last night but my High versus low chart for the NASDAQ was close to a reversal signal.

Where are the Piffers. I wonder if we broke any important lines in P&F land and I am curious where we are on the Bullish percentages etc. Things are moving so fast, I can't seem to keep up with checking everything. What worries me most is the lack of serious capitulation volume. This is just like an oozing cut that just slowly bleeds without the victim realizing how much blood is missing.

Anyone know if the SPDRs pay dividends for thier holdings? Just curious if you get the Dividends from the XLE or XLB for example since it is a basket.

Good Luck,

Lee
