Rules on a wash sale with options???

Does anyone know the rules concerning a wash sale on a stock using options.

I believe that one could buy BMCS call and put options, and hold for 30 days, then sell the underlining stock, and then call the options, to replace the stock you sold, and this would not qualify as a wash sale. ie) you could take the tax loss.

Does anyone know if this is correct? Or where I can find detail information on this.

Any help would be appreciated.
