I think it is time to buy AMD. I bought at 27 1/4. If I am right, this is the low for the period. A retest of 27 1/8 is possible. Reasons for thinking it has turned: The stock has hit a major trading support level. The aggressive dumping has abated - the trading action just looks right to me for a reversal. I don't expect this to become a darling momentum play but should see a modest relief rally for the next few days. Reports of AMD's death have been greatly exaggerated.

I think you are right....the chart shows the makings for a double bottom. I suspect the funds that downgraded the stock have finished their dumping.

Its interesting in that you want the funds to pick up a stock that you own......but its so double edged....when they freak, you pay the price.
