Regarding your chart John - there seems to have been a similar C/H formed in mid-May yet the stock traded sideways until the recent breakout. Similarly, I posted a possible C/H formation on this thread about a month ago for this stock siliconinvestor.com and this, like the May AKRN pattern, had no follow through. Volume is much lower since the C/H of HDII. Another possible example of C/H 'formation-in-progress' is DXT.

So John or Ray, from your understanding of C/H, is their some essential element, or elements, that separates the head-fake from the genuine thing (and I understand one must grant wide interpretive space for perceiving C/H i.e. they are rarely 'classic' formations).
