As for Rambus' IP, right now, and until the courts decide otherwise, yes, I am convinced that they have a lock on the whole DRAM industry. And thus whether MU makes money or not, the Bu$$ will collect royalties. For how long? How much (will the dram business get irrational again and total yearly shipment due to declining ASP go to the $25 B range), I know not. I have a conservative model saying that the bu$$ can earn sometime in the next 3 to 4 years something of the order of $4/share, and I have a "fair price" of these earnings at $100. Many on this thread maintain I am too conservative, you of course take the position that I am too exuberant. Well, c'est la vie. |
