I've been using Datek for 7 months and love the service. The only people that I would not recommend Datek to are day traders who get upset if they ever have to wait a few minutes to get a response from their service. The only times that I have had to wait a few minutes is when I accessed Datek at the office through our fire wall. Therefore, the delay could have been due to our network and not Datek's problem. What I like most about Datek is that they provide unlimited realtime quotes. Most services limit you to a certain number of realtime quotes per trade. The $9.99 commissions for either market or limit trades is great. Also, I've received two trades for free as they took longer than 1 minute to execute. They do not yet offer options trading but will by the end of the year.
