Dear Steve Lee and all: HOT DAMN!! (old American saying) Looks like we are going to get ANOTHER 2:1 stock split here in SUNW. If I knew of this I forgot so only good news of the day for me, on top of that its raining like the devil here in S. Fla. spoiling our weekend plans I think. JDN If the plan is approved, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company will pay shareholders in the form of a stock dividend a 2-for-1 stock split on Dec. 5 of record Nov. 9, the company added. Last month, the board approved the split, which will take place if the plan is approved at the Nov. 8 meeting in Santa Clara, Calif. The company said doubling the number of shares could have the effect of delaying or impeding a takeover or transfer of control of Sun Microsystems, "although this is not the intent of the board of directors."
