"Lost ten tribes of Israel''--Another "Jewish fable"
The origin of this fable is well known. In 1656, at the invitation of Cromwell, Menasseh ben Israel, leader and spokesman for Holland "Jewish" community, delivered an appeal at White Castle for the admission of the Jews to England. Before this time, the Jews were banned from England as a bad influence on the Christian Faith and morals. Cromwell, after receiving substantial sums for his revolution from the Jewish community in Holland, agreed to pay them back by petitioning the legislature for their admittance into England. During his speech, ben Israel introduced the "fable" or myth of the "Lost Ten Tribes". This new "Jewish fable" spread like wildfire among the hundreds of new denominations that were forming under Cromwells bloody reign. These "Jewish fables "found there way into the new colonies--particularly among the Baptist. Before this myth was introduced, the Church had always taught that all of the tribes from the Assyrian and Babylonian captivity had been restored during the restoration of Ezra and Nehemiah. All twelve tribes were represented when Jesus came. St. James clearly verifies this fact when he begins his Epistle with " James a servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting." It is obvious from James' writing that all of the tribes were accounted for. After being restored before the coming of Jesus, they were again dispersed as Christian Jews after the destruction of the Temple in 70A.D.
I have given you the nature and origin of this modern jewish fable. It originated with the Synagogue of Satan and is now being spread by multitudes of false teachers and zionists( both "christian" and jewish) |
