AFTER THE BELL-Net2Phone higher on Cisco report
NEW YORK, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Shares of Internet telephone service provider Net2Phone Inc. (NasdaqNM:NTOP - news) traded higher in after-hours trading on Friday after Dow Jones News Service reported the company signed a deal to form a new Internet telephony company with Cisco Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:CSCO - news)

Net2Phone shares were up $2-7/8 at $36-11/16 in after-hours trading on the Instinet electronic trading system after climbing $1-15/16 to $33-13/16 in regular trading on the Nasdaq.

Shares of Cisco, the world's biggest maker of computer networking equipment, last traded at $62-3/8 in the after-hours session down from their close of $62-3/4. The stock was up $1-1/2 in regular trade. The new company will be called ADIR Technologies, Dow Jones said, citing unidentified sources.
