Steve, In deference to SPHINX, the press constantly referred to the PSIX PR as a downgrade which is not the case. As a matter of fact their revenue estimates for 2H00 are in line or exceed previous analysts expectations (according to First Call). Does this present a buying opportunity? I dont know. MSCO downgraded it to neutral (not from a strong buy, but from accumulate)...another misrepresentation. Long term it's definitely a strong buy (IMO). Short term...we'll have to see what the anal-ysts have to say on Monday. DLJ reiterated their buy reco today, Vic Grover of Kaufman Bro's has a 12 mo. target of $84 and said the selling is way overdone. There were over 9MM shares short last reporting period and anyone's guess how many were added this past week. Would I buy it today? I dunno 'bout today but I will in the near term. Would I short it? No Way! Just MHO. Regards, G.
