<<pins...that growth makes me sit up and look. When I first noticed SSTI 5-6 months ago, I looked at that growth and the valuation afforded it, and just thought it was an outstanding possibility. I am not holding any long though, strictly a CC vehicle. It has worked out very well, it seems to run up and fall back so that you are not chasing it month to month, but the premiums stay high. good weekend to ya, Scott>>
Another move could be to maybe use half your position to do CC's and the other half to hold for the long haul. If you like the prospects over the next year+, it may not be a bad idea. Personally, I like the long term prospects so much, I have not been writing CC's, as I feel the premium wont be worth it when, if, this makes a big move. On the other hand, you are sitting there collecting a nice premium, while I sit here with my thumb up my posterior. Everytime I get ready to write, I look at the cc's and strike prices and can't seem to pull the trigger. Sure the ATM's pay a nice premium, but the otm's aren't driving me crazy to write them.
I think, if we get another dip into the mid - high twenties, I will take out a position simply for writing atm's each month....then I can hold my long term, but take advantage of the nice monthly income generated by cc's on ssti
have a great weekend
