Not to mention... NEIK is already turning a profit... not much of a profit but nevertheless... a profit. They launched the Northstar Network last week. Here is the summary:

Northstar Electronics, Inc. successfully launched its NORTHSTAR NETWORK at the Nova Scotia International Air Show and Exhibition on September 8 - 9, 2000.
NORTHSTAR NETWORK is designed to secure national and international contracts in the defense, aerospace, and communications sectors. These contracts will be mainly in sonar applications, wireless communications, command and control systems, training systems and systems integration.
A fundamental strength of NORTHSTAR NETWORK is derived from its affiliate program. The affiliates are successful high technology companies and world class research and training institutions. Currently, they include eight companies, a university, a polytechnic institution and a national center for marine communications. NORTHSTAR NETWORK is comprised of over 1,000 professionals and support personnel.
At the International Air Show, Howard Nash, NORTHSTAR NETWORK'S Director, Defense and Aerospace Programs, focussed on the corporations expected to bid on the Navy's $2.9B Maritime Helicopter Program (MHP). Meetings were held with most of the main players including Team Cormorant (Boeing, Bell Helicopters, Agusta-Wesland), Sikorsky Helicopters, Eurocopter (Aerospatiale and Daimler - Chrysler), Lockheed Martin, and Rockwell Collins.
Mr. Nash reports that strong interest was expressed in NORTHSTAR NETWORK'S participation as a regional prime contractor in the MHP.
Dr. Wilson Russell, President of Northstar Electronics, says that the development of good relationships with prime contractors is an integral part of NORTHSTAR NETWORK'S business strategy.

Finally, the stock is very thin... this is why the spread opens up so biggly. Patience and putting a bid in the spread is the only way to buy the stock. Don't chase and take out offers when they are out of site. It will come back. I have accumulated 27600 shares so far by being patient.
