Michael, Gee whiz!! It looks like things have taken a, personal, turn for the worse since I have been gone. I wonder how that happened, with such enlightened liberals abounding about the scene. It appears that the campaign is taking a turn toward a bitter waging of advertising war, but I doubt that it will sway the concrete minds of the dedicated liberals that think the government is the "horn of plenty" and that it should be the final authority on every aspect of our personal lives. I wonder if those members of labor unions realize that they, and their cohorts, are responsible for most of the cars on American roads to be Japanese, 80% of the steel used is coming from Japanese mills, 90% of all electronics to be manufactured off-shore, and a major portion of all clothing to be manufactured in foreign lands? This list could have been longer but, I am being kind today. I wonder if they realize that they caused the phrase "feather bedding" to be coined which, of course, denotes getting a days pay for a couple of hours work? I wonder if they realize that their efforts have been a major factor in past inflationary economies in this country, and I wonder if they realize that there has never been a strike that paid for itself? No strike has ever resulted in gains that equalled or surpassed the cost of the strike. Yeah, those union guys and gals are a really peachy bunch of folks.
BTW, don't get me started on "civil servants". :^)))))
