All: Some posters on RB have been complaining about the lack of news. Well, such openness on the part of TSIS may be a reason for the loss of the ATT account. When you post your customer list, you invite competitors to zero in and target your customers. The TSIS website prominently displays part of it's client list. To me, that's not the most adviseable marketing strategy since it becomes very tempting for a competitor to target your clients rather than prospecting for new clients.

To the extent TSIS complies with all disclosure laws, I don't have a problem with them keeping things quiet for the moment. We take risks when investing and we take even bigger risks when investing in BB stocks. I'm willing to take the risk that Don and his managers are doing the right thing by keeping quiet for the moment.

We've received guidance from management that the quiet period is anticipated to run into this autumn. I and most people associated with technical companies know schedules slip more times than not. As a result, I have no problem if the quiet period extends into the winter.

As a former president said, "Trust but Verify". I and all of us should do the same. We do that by reading the company SEC filings. We listen to analysts calls. We listen to CEO updates. We pay attention to the whole industry. We look for new entrants. We look for substitutes. When larger sums of money are involved, we attend the shareholders meetings, we go to industry trade shows, we attend the open houses. In our limited free time, we may check bulletin board messages. All of these things are how we verify that management is doing what it says it's doing. We trust but verify.

If you're a serious investor you already know that. If you're an amature who's putting money in the market because your state doesn't have a lottery or Casinos at the Indian Reservations, you hang out on bulletin boards whining about why the $500 you "invested" last month hasn't turned into 100K.
