Hi Bernard: It seems to me that there may be an overabundance of fiber clecs and dsl clecs, and a shakeout there is inevitable. However, I don't see that being the case for BBFW clecs. The BBFW clecs have a huge market of office buildings where fiber and copper/dsl is not a viable alternative. There are barriers to entry (ie. licenses) and the BBFW competition seems to be a fair amount behind Winstar on deployment (nxlk, tgnt, abiz). There are no barriers to entry for fiber.

I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this and will ask again if you see BBFW as a strategic imperative for the incumbents.

I believe the analysts and the market should be differentiating between the various types of clecs. Of course, I am biased.
