DCTM held tough most of the day Friday with the market selling. It capitulated in the last hour and a half which is where I bought more (56 1/8). I was happy to see the upturn at the close, whether short covering or bargain hunting, I don't care. It bodes well for Monday. After hours, there were trades as high as 59 1/2.

I think people are nervous about the rumors, but I made my decision about this stock at the last earnings report. Where the street saw negatives in the loss of momentum in their old technology, I saw a focus on their new technology which was growing just fine. I'm betting on the latter.

My only regret was selling my buy at 45 when it got to 48. It seems that this stock offers plenty of opportunities to trade around a position. I'll sell my 56 1/8 under 60, but will hold my core purchase until just before next earnings.

When you read the earnings summary, you wonder what people were thinking to drive the stock to 45 last earnings period:

For the six months ended 6/00, revenues rose 63% to $86.9 million. Net income totaled $1.9 million, vs. a loss of $7.2 million. Results reflect increased number of new licenses sold, higher gross profit and increased interest and other income.
