Housekeeping..

Bulba; Sorry, wrong rant. That was for BBII. Yours can be found at :

merck.com

for a start. Now I have not dug into their filings so can't comment too much on their specific issues, but did look into Mass Spec for this use about 13 years ago and we passed as it was cheaper to do it by IR. Can you get a grant to play with stuff like this? Heck yes! Co. we talked too turned right around and got one from the Navy to study atmosphere composition on submarines. Your tax dollars hard at work...

SBIR Phase II does not a business make.

Off again...

TLCV hit new lows this week. I've held a little for a while and added some. Others should be very cautious as I am placing a rising volume declining price bet on the laser vision correction business and it could be off by a little and mean a lot either way. Anyway, read the 10K. Amazing volume growth bad earnings since they were playing with stuff they don't understand in diversifications. Now mostly sold. If they get back to their core business, they should be able to well, but lots of IFs. Big ones. They'll need to do a cap equipment replacement cycle soon on their lasers. As this stuff is all leased and other funky financing I don't know what impact that will have. These guys have a potential to be another Lenscrafters in the laser surgery market and are structured so that an HMO or other firm CAN buy them (not always possible in medical services settings due to legal structures.

Anyways take a look. And they are Cannuck. So maybe I should take it to small cap foreign thread.

MCDE and AICX decent moves this week. ASTM keeps popping and dropping, probably on takeover speculation. I'd stay out. SPGNA dropped 20% on 200 shares. Talk about a thin market.

GLIA is about as flat as roadkill at the moment. Bought more of course. Anything else in the small cap world popping?
