Hi all - have you folks received a *tender offer* note from an outfit called "Sutter Opportunity"? What a gas! As if VARL shareholders didn't get scr*wed enough of time, this guy wanted 250K of your shares for $3. Yep! You could have sold it in the *spot* market for more.

To be certain, VARL is not alone being exploited by this kind of tender offer scheme. Awhile back, WSJ mentioned someone [not sure if there are the same set of individuals running the exploit,] they would send letters to shareholders to existing shareholders of good companies [one comes to mind is a sc company making WD40,] making *tender offer* below market price. The sad thing is that it got some shares [don't ask me how!] or the result of the *news* caused the stock to drop.

best, Bosco
