Many thanks for your reply with both its explanation and
its hot links. I appreciate the assistance. The fact that
the shares are redeemable at 5.00 is interesting. I've
not bought preferred shares before and my thrashing about
on my own trying to figure out just how they worked
(I do know about some preferreds being cumulative and
redeemable) wasn't particularly productive.

May your stocks go up, may your timing be impeccable,
and may you find some way to excape the tax collector.
