In India, from what I saw in my mother's cousin's movies was worse than racially based. Right dot and you ate like a king, wrong dot and you ate the guts of something that died from disease. Same race. Except for the dots.

I remember watching some footage of the lower caste people following a cow that would be put down and buried in the US. It finally died and the lower people fell on it like buzzards. I remember one woman taking a 2' piece of intestion, dropped it in the dirt, wiped it off and ate it raw.
