JDN ... I keep spouting here about an imminent and large correction (or even a possible crash) because I honestly believe that one is coming soon (it may have just started or it may not be until early in calendar 2001). In any case, as each day passes, the odds and pressures build in that direction (at least in my personal opinion).

Other than thinking that I will be proven correct, and that I want to provide some contrary thought to people on this thread (who I very much like personally), I have no other agenda.

You or others might say that that since I believe that I will be able to buy SUNW back in the 70s (pre-split)in the next several months (having sold all of my 6000+ shares of SUNW in the 100 to 105 range), that I am trying to get you all to sell and help drive the price down. You could make a case for that. But (1) I know I have little influence on anyone here, and even if I did, (2) I don't think that if all SUNW stockholders who read this thread all sold at the same moment, that it would have more than a momentary influence on the price.

... and I promise you, I am not 'short' SUNW. I am not a complete idiot.

I have owned a December 'put' on the S&P 500 since late August, and I just bought a second 'put' on the S&P 500 for March 2001.

I have attached two articles that have a very definite bearish bias ... I ask you to accept that and read them anyhow. There are some truths in them that should give all investors pause for thought (in my opinion). There are flaws in both articles as well as things I certainly do not accept on face value. Overall however, they are serious issues to be considered in each.

All of you who know me and those who do not should realize that I am a private investor, and that I am a pure amateur (investing for my wife and I only) and non-professional. This is, as always, my personal opinion.

Very sincerely,
Ken Wilson
