Who are the questionable promoters that you refer to? Surely you do not class enthusiasts on this chat line, as being promoters? True promoters are those hired by the company to do promotion, for which they are paid. Flag does not use this approach, which is used by many other companies. This is one of the reasons why some class Flag as being unprofessional. However, I find this an attractive quality in Flag. I will not invest in "hype" stocks who need professional promotion. This is just my opinion, but these differences are what makes the market. Just like a horse race, eh!
