Democrats deep down realize my analysis is right on the money. But they don't care. They've been so mind numbed to believe Republicans are the equivalent of the devil reincarnated, that they're willing to accept, admire, applaud and even love a rapist if it means the devil is held at bay.
I learned a long time ago. Politics is a liberal Democrats real religion. And they're more than willing to place public policy morality, far above personal morality. That's why they can support people such as Gore/Clinton, Clinton/Gore who are obviously lying manipulators. They're willing to be duped, because, being duped means a Republican (devil) will be stopped.
It also explains why a person such as Joe Lieberman can claim to be a deeply religious person, and still support cutting the head of a fully viable baby open and sucking out the child's brain. "Political policy religion", is above in importance to spiritual religion.
Additionally, this explains why you don't see any pro threads here on SI supporting Gore. They really aren't pro anything. Just anti Republican.
This religious mindset has been so drummed into the heads of Democrats, they're willing to say anything in order to get their candidate elected. For instance, they will fake outrage in order to try and paint a picture of a Republican as a racist, a homophobe bent on killing all homosexuals, or a person who wants to starve children, the elderly, or pollute the water supply and kill us all.
These are actual Democratic party play-book techniques, fully endorsed by their members as just part of the battle against the evil Republican entity. No claim is too outrageous, and no persons behavior is questioned as long as they are part of the team. So Gore/Clinton, or any other Democrat, can say or do anything they wish, as long as they support the public religion known as *liberalism*. |
