The only states that matter at this time are Iowa, Michigan, Penna, and Ohio........and Bush has fallen behind in all four, probably for good. Looks like people want a candidate who talks about the issues, not debate format, attack adds with secret messages, or who favors HMOs over Medicare dispensing drugs to the elderly. Can you blame John and Jane Q Public for liking Gore over Bush?.......On Cokie Roberts this morning Gov. Ridge could not adequately defend a man who shunned him for the VP in favor of Big Business!..............I notice the Bushies are awfully quiet these days, must be the queasy feeling in your stomach when depression sets in.
