Not scary at all, I'm all for it Savant. Short sellers aren't the monsters lots of people make them out to be. But hey, I'll support the uptick rule if you support the downtick rule. Long shares can't be purchased except on a downtick. Fair is fair.

Suspending something for a period of time is not the same as doing away with it altogether.

Now, I've spent altogether too much time on this ancient proposal.
