Look at this Raging Bull post ragingbull.altavista.com Now look at May's trading ranges chart.yahoo.com People short on that $50 recommendation had to be originally short around $25 post-split. Now look at June's trading ranges (post split numbers of course) chart.yahoo.com Now look at how short volume jumped dramatically in June - anything above 6.65 million is an increase. viwes.com - but then went down by July to almost the May levels. Now look at July's trading ranges chart.yahoo.com Conclusion, - lots of shorting occurred between May 15th and June 15th. - lots of short covering occurred between June 15th and July 15th. - Anyone still short from that recommendation is hurting big time. - But anyone who shorted in May on that advice, then covered by July took a big time licking too.
