eDispatch.com signs agreement with Bell Mobility

eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc EWD
Shares issued 28,061,324 Sep 13 close $9.75
Thu 14 Sept 2000 News Release
Mr. Brian Ellis reports
eDispatch.com Wireless Data has reached an agreement to bring the wireless
Internet to mobile workers via Mobile Browser, a Bell Mobility service that
enables users to log onto the Internet from their digital PCS phone.
"Bell Mobility's evaluation of the eDispatch wireless Internet system
demonstrates their recognition of the potential eDispatch's solution has to
provide Bell Mobility's customer base with new value-added services in a
highly competitive market," said Brian Ellis, president and chief executive
officer, eDispatch.
This announcement is a significant achievement for eDispatch as it
represents a breakthrough for the company in the Canadian market. Bell
Mobility is one of Canada's largest wireless carriers with a strong
concentration of customers in the important Ontario and Quebec markets.
Bell Mobility offers a full range of wireless communications services to
2.7 million Canadians and represents a significant presence in Canada for
the eDispatch service.
The first Internet-hosted dispatch service of its kind, eDispatch will
allow Bell Mobility's customers to enjoy the benefits of computer-automated
dispatch without the significant capital outlay on hardware, software and
consulting services that is typical of enterprise software systems. The
eDispatch system consists of an Internet-based software application,
wireless data air time and two-way mobile devices. Companies can dispatch
job orders, track their progress, and manage and deploy workers in real
time -- thereby increasing the efficiency and productivity of their mobile
work force.
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for
"forward-looking" statements.
