I may be mistaken, but I thought that Nokia was going to use the Symbian EPOC OS with the Palm user interface and applications layered on top?

Seems to me that Palm either needs a competitive upgraded OS pretty soon, or a partnership with Symbian, otherwise they're going to be playing catch-up.
