It either has to do with some investors wanting to use audited figures only, or it didn't make sense to me, either. IBD has an article on Dell's storage plans investors.com that contains: Fast-forward to today, and PC technology almost totally dominates that space. Leaders back then - Silicon Graphics and Intergraph - now are dying. And we’re now the No. 1 company in workstations. The same thing is going to happen in storage.
