Hope no one minds if I bring up, gulp, the stock price action.

Perhaps it's the Euro's devaluations. Perhaps it's uncertainty surrounding the higher fuel costs cutting into discretionary spending. Perhaps it's just options expirations. But, did anyone notice that the stock price dropped precipitously Friday?

Does anyone expect the selling to continue?

AAPL has always been event driven, that is, up until the bonds were retired. If it remains an event driven issue, the next event is the mid-October ER. That's 4 weeks! With the market ready to take another power-out glide slope, broader market forces could put us back below 50 at some point heading into ER. We're half way there now.

How much effect might we expect the Euro to have on the expected product-refresh/back-to-school earnings bonanza? Might it be enough to warrant a pre-announcement?
