What happens to all the people financed to the hilt with $600 SUV payments that can't afford the payments and gas anymore? I really fear that this could snowball. I mean people only have so much income and now a much larger percentage for the lower and lower middle class's will go to heating and driving. Doesn't leave any for computers, phones, new cars etc. Or worse yet do they start reducing their contributions to pension or start having to cash in some of their holdings to maintain their life styles?
