You are correct. We need broadband in order for new and exciting software to develop to replace what the PC industry has to offer as of now, and for current rapid growth areas, to use your words, to move beyond what they have now. Sure, there are other areas in the software sector that are doing great, while the represent billions in dollars in rev. they will not replace op. sys. also, even the new areas will hit a saturation point after awhile.
