just a quick note... this morning on National Public Radio (NPR for those of you who are cultured enough to listen <g>), they discussed Nippon Telephone and Telegraph's (NTT for those of you who are up to speed with telecom stocks <g>) plans to bypass cable and go directly to fiber in Japan... let's not forget NTT owns part of Davnet, who sells Jolt (Optical Access) equipment....
