Is the student in mezcal or the mezcal in the student ... were they ever separate ... quality mezcal has quintupled in price in the last year, disease in the maguey following a successful upscale marketing drive in Europe ... less mezcal + more students = fivebagger and rising ... sip 'em if you got 'em, i don't, just the residual effects.
Don't quote me on the LeTourneau thing, it's from distant memory ... but i remember hearing 'regenerative braking' and each wheel had a big motor in it ... LeTourneau himself was a story, brilliant and eccentric engineer, some sort of fundamentalist in religion, started a university [as i recall] ... the guy who originally bought that truck met him personally, that would be roughly '64, he used to go on at length on the guy and the great future for his diesel electric machinery, fantastically expensive though it was ... just searching altavista for something on the net, came up with this, it may be his university - letu.edu
