Okay, now you're getting interesting... Santa Rosa is not in the Bay Area... These folks included San Jose... --- I knew it was just a matter of time before Rick Moen showed up on the SI MSFT thread. This is one of those 'six degrees of separation' things. Deirdre is a slut! Just because she used her wing tipped uber *nix wiles to sucker Rick into packing up and moving from SF to Menlo Park, doesn't make SV the Bay Area anymore than it makes Esperanto the international language of love. --- CABAL does not exist. Rick Moen exists everywhere. --- Not that long ago, SVLUG and BALUG were worlds apart. A bad batch of Mu Shu Pork or overly ambitious pressed duck at at a BALUG meeting in Chinatown (Four Seas Restaurant) ruined the LinuxCare IPO and caused BALUG to go dark. --- This freed up just enough room for Deirdre Saoirse to monopolize all of Rick Moen's free time and most recently, his testicles. --- That Rick Moen thinks SVLUG is in the 'Bay Area' is easily explained by the presence of the evil Deirdre. The fact is Santa Rosa is a part of NBLUG (North Bay LUG) as is Rick Moen. Deirdre isn't. You connect the dots. -JCJ
