Sonny ---I think what is happening that we are having the usual rebalancing before the mutual funds close out the year on OCT 31 . They tend to sell their losers before then and balance it with selling some of their winners for capital gains purposes ( What the heck is that ) .
Sonny ---have been saying this for some time ---with Bush and Cheney background in energy they should be tearing Gore apart on this issue . I do not know why he has not put out a strong front on this issue but he is making a big mistake .
Watch for Clinton to release oil from the national strategic reserve around OCT 15 th to temporarily drive oil prices and heating oil price down just before the election .
Just like he has waited since 1995 to relocate the American Embassy in Isarel to Jerusalem ( which he just announced last month ) in order to help Hillary win the Jewish vote in New York .
Look for the fall rally starting mid ---October ----that way it can be a 20% run for the houses by winter

Hope everything is okay and the grandkids are not getting tired of you ---Boy I am glad I am not their yet ---just granddogs

BEST WISHES
BILL

PS Silicon Investor is headquarter in Seattle now ---You ought to go by and check it out
PSS ---This BS about the Euro being weak causing earnings shortfalls is just that ---The EURO has been going down since it has been public ----It was at 87 to the dollar in May and now is 85 to the dollar ---just another excuse ---Most of the big international have people that hedge the countries in every country they do business with . The only issue that is effecting the bottom line is oil . The only way to compensate is through increase productivity ( increase technology spending ) ---so damn obvious !
