Teri -
First of all - LET'S GO RANGERS - gotta run for my train.
Been out lurking, eh?
The weakness all week in the dollar indicated the Fed was not going to defend it by raising rates and making US paper more valuable in the global market. This jibed with Bob Rubin's latest indications - it also is in line with the political aspects as a weaker dollar makes US exporters more competitive and makes the CEO's (=donations to PACs) very happy.
OK - DELL - WOW. This should help. The AMAT short squeeze is reaching capitulation stage - so again, I think we are ahead of ourselves at 70. It is VERY DIFFICULT (emphasis intended) to hold a stock that has more than tripled in less than a year. i just don't have a lot of experience with this phenomenon.
Have a nice evening - td
