Of course what we are talking about here is limited atonement the L in the famous T.U.L.I.P. I don't pretend that the reformed position is the only position but I think it's the one that fits best with Scripture. I fully expect to hear howls of outrage but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Here is a good article by James white, have a read and tell me what you think.
