Like almost everyone else - what happened - $37? I follow most of this stuff almost as much as Brumell - <g> - I do not remember anyone last year saying - oh yea, by the way, I think oil will hit $37 next year - lol.

But from the bits and pieces I am reading, I am starting to gestalt a picture that points to Asia and the third world. And if that is true, then the demand should just continue to increase. 1.4 billion people in china alone trading bicycles for cars - there economy has been expanding at something like 7.5% a year - or some big number like that.

Now at $37 per barrel every po dunk well in the world will be squeezing out every last drop they can find, heavy oil will be forced out, oil sand stepped up (go Canada) and supply should increase pretty well.

But just as no one saw this price rise I predict no one will predict correctly what the next year or two will unfold - how could the worlds intelligentsia miss this one? - well like many of you I have watched people not predict commodities very well for 20 years - its just the human condition (we are not as smart as we think we are lol)- but it sure makes for great theater - lol.

As I said before much more interesting than PGM's - lol.
