I'm still looking into this (and it's not easy because everyone at NTOP is very reluctant to talk) but the overall impression I am getting is that the ADIR news today was not complete and was not nearly the entire story. Something rushed this announcement and all the dominoes were not in place. To tell you the truth, I don't even think the full extent of CSCO's involvement has been determined. I first began to think about this during the conference call this morning. Howie Balter was not himself. They weren't forthcoming with numbers, the CSCO guy seemed supportive but unsure etc. I think the company may have put this out today to quell the rumor mill long enough so they could focus on completing the package.

It would appear to me that we can expect much more here but will have to be patient and let them compete what they are doing.

The WSJ article was pure baloney. The company isn't shifting their business strategy at all and their current model is ahead of schedule (as was recently announced).

I know I am right about my thoughts here but as I said, information is tight (as it should be).

Anyway, I think NTOP is as over sold today as it may have been overbought yesterday.
