Integrated Marketing Agreement Allows move.com to Expand Home-Related Resources for Customers While Extending Visualize's Market Reach
SAN FRANCISCO, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Recognizing that a new house with bare walls is not yet a home, Move.com Group and Visualize Inc., the premier source of accessible and affordable fine art, today announced a comprehensive long term marketing agreement to give move.com users access to Visualize's exclusive limited edition fine art. Move.com Group, the Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD - news) subsidiary that operates the move.com relocation, real estate and home-related services portal, will also provide Visualize with exposure to the more than 200,000 brokers and agents affiliated with Cendant real estate brands who work with millions of consumers each year.
Online, move.com and Visualize will collaborate on a co-branded art section on move.com's Web site, featuring expert content and an online shopping area. The content will be comprised of general information about living with art as well as specific tips on topics like moving art and hanging art from both Visualize and their online magazine, ``Off The Wall.'' Move.com will utilize the Visualize ``Art Matcher'' technology, which is designed to help customers find the art they love. In addition to linking to the Visualize web site through a multitude of banner and email impressions Visualize.com will be integrated into the move.com ``Move Calendar,'' a feature designed to keep move.com customers on schedule throughout their moves.
``From planning to moving to living, the goal at move.com is to make customers feel as comfortable as possible through the duration of the often-stressful relocation process including after they move into their new home,'' said move.com Group CEO Sarah Nolan. ``This relationship with Visualize is designed to alleviate some of the post-moving burdens by providing quick and easy access to the details that turn a house into a home.''
Offline, under the agreement, Visualize will also provide special offers to new home buyers through Coldwell Banker®, ERA® and Century 21® brokers and agents. Brokers and agents affiliated with a Cendant real estate brand participated in more than 1.9 million home sales in 1999.
``Moving can entail many lifestyle changes including re-decorating,'' said Abby Adlerman, president and CEO of Visualize. ``Through this alliance with move.com and Cendant, Visualize will be able to reach thousands of new home buyers and renters in need of art and will provide an elegant time-saving solution to fill their walls with limited edition art that they will love for years to come.''
