Scumbria, re: Do you think that Hitachi or Intel or AMD or any other microprocessor manufacturer should or would pay Rambus royalties for microprocessors? Excuse me but are you saying that if you had some intellectual property and patents on some technology that someone was infringing upon, you would just let them infringe? Do you also use napster to listen to CDs that you did not buy and never will? Do you also pirate software? Cause I just need to understand what IP and patents means to you. I know you are in the technology field so you must have some patents of your own (or that your company owns). Does your company give them away free? Did they put them in the public domain? Can you provide us with a link if that's the case?
