ASIA PULSE: DELEGATION FROM CHINA UNICOM TO MEET WITH KOREA'S SHINSEGI Asia Pulse, Sep 19, 2000, 108 words SEOUL, Sept 19 Asia Pulse - A China Unicom delegation has arrived in Seoul to meet with executives from Shinsegi Telecomm about forming cooperative alliances on code division multiple access(CDMA). The nine-man delegation of China Unicom, led by Chairman Yang Xianzu, will observe on first hand the operation of Shinseki Telecom's network control system and other operational aspects including customer service. The Chinese visitors plan to learn operation know-how, customer service and other operation aspects with Shinsegi Telecomm to be ready for its launch of CDMA2000 1X communication service. China Unicom, the second largest communication company in China, and Shinsegi Telecomm signed an agreement yesterday for a mobile phone roaming service that can be used both in South Korea and China. search.ft.com
