Lifestream Technologies Appoints Douglas K. Robinson as COO of The Data Concern, the Company's Smart Card Initiative
POST FALLS, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2000--Lifestream Technologies(TM), Inc. (OTCBB:LFST - news), developer of the first ``at-home'' cholesterol monitor with embedded Smart Card reader, today announced the appointment of Douglas K. Robinson to head up operations for The Data Concern(TM), the company's Privalink(TM)/Smart Card initiative. Robinson has nearly 20 years of commercial, industrial, and retail channel experience in the global marketplace, most recently at Source Information Management Co./Myco, Inc.

Robinson will be responsible for overseeing product development and execution of the business plan for The Data Concern project.

Robinson first joined Myco, Inc., in 1996. Source Information Management acquired Myco in 1999. He served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where he developed and executed a strategy to double the point-of-purchase segment sales.
From 1991 to 1996, Robinson held several positions at Newell (Newell/Rubbermaid). Most recently, he was Vice President of Marketing in its International Division where he was responsible for merchandising, product management, product development, and marketing communication strategies. Prior to Newell, he served in a variety of marketing positions for a manufacturer and marketer of building products. Robinson has a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Washington State University.
