Comment: The only thing holding AMD back at the moment is the erroneous perception, imho, that there is some kind of near term lid on AMD's growth and earnings potential...As mentioned previously, revenues of $2.8 billion in '99 will be eclipsed by the $5 billion in Y2000 and the $7 billion in Y2001...A negative eps in '99 will be eclipsed by a minimum eps of $3.50 in Y2000 and probably $5.00 in Y2001 as AMD transitions from low K6 ASP to high K7 ASP, all the while with expanding shipments!!!not to mention flash sold out to end of 2001...These persistant negative AMD perceptions are about to be blown away on October 11 with the Q3 earnings report, imho, as is AMD pricing below $40...
