This market has been manipulated in a big way.
But what else is new? Tech frenzy boosters drove the techs way-way up. Bio-techs too. Now it's oil's turn. The actual news on oil supply isn't so bad. And meanwhile the rest of the economy is cruising. We do not use as much energy vs. production anymore and the net is a big part of it. Hell, I don't even have to leave home to work if I don't want to.
Anyway, I'd buy into this BS. Beaten-down steady earners with bright futures down 50% or more recently on not-so-bad news. Like WCOM, UIS, VZ, IFMX, CPWR and those types.

Posting from Holland where there may be a weak Euro but the economy is booming and they can sell more stuff to us now.
It's not all bad for the US. Want a cheaper Mercedes? And look at DCX stock while you're at it. A steal at 7 PE.
I'm optimistic that this has been a big-time 2 week shake-out and whomever buys in first and holds is goin g to make great profits. As I look back all the best buying ops were at the peak of negativity (then wait a few more days).
